It all starts with an inquiry. You’ll tell me a little about yourself, what you’re dreaming up, and what matters most to you. Once we decide we’re a good fit, you’ll sign your contract, take care of your retainer, and your date is officially yours.
02. We Plan the Good Stuff
You don’t have to figure everything out on your own. I’ll help with location ideas, outfits, timelines, lighting, and all those little details that can feel overwhelming. For my wedding couples, we’ll work together to create a photography timeline that gives us plenty of room for the moments that matter without making your entire day feel like one big photoshoot.
03. Come As You Are
You do not need to know how to pose. That’s my job. I’ll guide you when you need it, give you prompts that create real interaction, and fix the little things you shouldn’t have to think about. We’ll get the beautiful, intentional portraits, but I’m always watching for the in-between moments too. The laughs, the movement, the way you naturally reach for each other. Those are usually the ones that end up meaning the most.
04. Your Day, Your People, Your Story
When the day arrives, your only job is to be there and enjoy it. I want photography to feel like part of the experience, not something constantly interrupting it. I’ll step in and direct when it’s needed and give you room when it isn’t. Expect a mix of romantic portraits, genuine emotion, pretty details, a little editorial flair, and plenty of personality.

Then comes the part you’ve been waiting for. I’ll carefully hand-edit your images in my signature warm, romantic style and deliver them in an online gallery made for reliving it all over again. These aren’t just photos for Instagram. They’re the photographs your kids might hold someday. The ones that bring you right back to exactly how this season of your life felt.

I hear this ALL the time, and I promise you don’t need to know what you’re doing. I’ll guide you through the entire session with posing, prompts, and direction while still leaving room for those natural, in-between moments. My job is to make you feel comfortable enough to forget about the camera and just be yourselves.
What if we’re awkward in front of the camera?

The sooner, the better! Wedding dates can book a year or more in advance, especially during the busy spring and fall seasons. For regular sessions, I recommend reaching out at least a few weeks ahead. That said, it never hurts to ask about last-minute availability!
How far in advance should we book?

Kentucky weather likes to keep us humble. I keep an eye on the forecast leading up to outdoor sessions, and if the weather truly isn’t going to cooperate, we’ll talk through our options. Depending on the session, that might mean adjusting our time, changing locations, embracing a little weather, or rescheduling.

Absolutely. You don’t have to show up already knowing exactly what photographs well. I’m happy to help you choose a location and give guidance on outfits, colors, textures, and how everything will photograph together. We’ll create something that feels like you while still fitting the vision you have for your photos.
Do you help with outfits and locations?

I know how hard it is to wait when you’re excited to see them! Regular sessions are typically delivered within three weeks. Wedding sneak peeks are delivered within one week, with your full wedding gallery delivered within eight weeks. Every image you receive is individually edited in my signature style and delivered through a beautiful online gallery made for downloading, sharing, and reliving it all over again.
